The Boeing Centennial Exhibit

The Future of Flight Aviation Center is proud to present the Boeing Centennial Exhibit, on display in the Aerospace Gallery until December 31, 2016. Debuted by Boeing at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow, this fascinating display showcases the full range of Boeing innovations in commercial aviation, defense and space. Engage with interactives to explore topics such as flying differently, materials used in flight, the Boeing passenger experience and new ways of powering flight. While there, take time to:

  • Stroll the timeline that chronicles 100 years of Boeing
  • Look at 3D printed models of future Boeing products, and learn about how Boeing is leveraging 3D printing for designing and building their products
  • See the 1/20th scale model of the new Boeing 777X
  • Look inside a 1/20th scale 787 Boeing Business Jet
  • Compare the current and future Boeing products from displays that include 1/20 scale models and design highlights
  • See Aviation Week covers, ads and articles about Boeing over 100 years
  • Enjoy a Boeing Flypaper airplane zone for folding and testing paper planes

Alongside the Boeing Centennial Exhibit is a scroll-style greeting card where visitors can sign the card and wish The Boeing Company a happy birthday or write a congratulatory message. The scroll will be an attempt to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most signatures on a greeting card scroll. The current record is 71,542, which was set in 2012.
