Born and raised in West Virginia to parents who loved jazz, soul and R&B and to a mother who sang in their church choir, Jones was exposed to a variety of music foundations prior to making her professional debut as a jazz singer in Seattle, WA. With a professional background in business and an MBA to her credit, Jones broadened her career path to pursue jazz.
