Future of Flight & Boeing Tour Near Seattle

Everything You Need to Know

Can I purchase tickets the day of the tour?
To guarantee your tickets, it’s best to purchase them in advance. You can reserve your tickets online or by phone at 1-800-464-1476 up to one hour before your arrival.

When is the best time to visit? To avoid crowds, visit during value season or off-peak times. Early mornings and late afternoons are generally less crowded. Weekends and the peak summer months (June-September) are the busiest.

Cameras allowed at the Future of Flight and not in the Boeing factory. You may take photos in the Future of Flight Gallery and on the Strato Deck but The Boeing Company does not permit still photos or video cameras on the tour. In addition, there are no personal items allowed on the tour, including purses, backpacks, waist pouches, binoculars, cell phones, etc. Lockers are available onsite. The Boeing Store offers free photo booth pictures with a choice of Boeing backgrounds. The photo booth is located in the Future of Flight Gallery.

Is there an additional fee to ride the Innovator in the Gallery? Yes, an additional $8 per person.

Are there overnight accommodations available nearby? Absolutely! If you want to take full advantage of your trip to the Future of Flight and nearby attractions, consider making a hotel reservation at one of the area's lodging establishments.
We have someone in our group with special needs. Can they be accommodated? Tell us in advance if someone with special needs is visiting. With advance notice, we can make arrangements to provide wheelchair assistance. We can also provide an American Sign Language interpreter with two weeks advance notice. The tour does require substantial walking—including through the underground tunnel system of Boeing—so wear comfortable shoes.

Can small children go on the Boeing tour? Children must be at least 4 feet (122 cm) tall to go on the Boeing Tour. You cannot carry babies or small children on the tour and there is no childcare facility at the Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour.

What can my children who are too short for the Boeing Tour do?
Families can participate in Weekend Family Workshops and enjoy the Family Zone: How Planes are Made.

Can I fly up and park my aircraft at the Future of Flight? The Future of Flight Aviation Center has limited space available for fly-in parking adjacent to the center. Fly-in visitors should contact our Events staff at or call Christine at 425-438-8100 x225 prior to the day of your flight to check availability and for entry into the Center from the ramp. Airplane parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is often spoken for weeks in advance. We suggest you make your reservations early. Additional parking may be available at Castle & Cooke at 425-355-6600.
