Expectations and Training
Applicants must be dedicated, motivated, courteous, passionate about commercial aviation and friendly. Applicants must have a basic comfort level with computer usage and phone systems. Applicants must be able to stand for a lengthy amount of time.
Volunteers must continually assess and update their knowledge of exhibits, programs, and customer service values on a regular basis. They will receive training and are expected to engage visitors with the customer service standards adopted by the Future of Flight and the program. Volunteers must attend training sessions focusing on customer service and commercial aviation relating to exhibits on our gallery floor.
