The new Future of Flight - the place
The Future of Flight Aviation Center is an extraordinary visitor attraction created by a dynamic public/private/nonprofit partnership. The Snohomish County Public Facilities District, Snohomish County via its Paine Field airport, The Boeing Company, and Future of Flight Foundation are the partners in this $23-million project.

 

Future of Flight - the foundation
The Future of Flight Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that owns the collection in the Aviation Center. The foundation further serves as the operator of the facility.

The foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. Board members are John Quinlivan, President, Erik Nelson, Dan Rahkonen, Howard Johnson, Melanie Jordan and Lynn Nixon.

The Future of Flight mission is to educate, entertain and engage our global community to inspire innovation.

With the opening of the Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour in December 2005, the foundation is focusing on strengthening and deepening the visitor experience and educational opportunities.
